THE ENCAMPMENT WILL BE IN THE
ALGONAC STATE PARK

The St. Clair Flats Historical Encampment is primarily focused on the daily life
activities of the different peoples (Europeans & Native Americans) that inhabited
the Great Lakes region during the mid 1700's . Historical interpreters will be
demonstrating activities, crafts, skills, and games of the different peoples that
inhabited the Great Lakes region during this time period. There will be historical
interpreters from various parts of the country, participating at the event.


The Algonac State Park is located on the St. Clair River (M-29),
just 2 miles north of the city of Algonac.
